The Judgement Part 5

It had been two days ago since you cried in Feliciano's arms, after that you had been resting most of the time to recover.. even then you still had this pain in your chest that wouldn't go away, you knew what it was but you couldn't do anything against it.

You once again found yourself in the bed, but this time you weren't chained to the bedpost it seemed. You helped yourself get out of bed, dressing yourself properly before you decided to try the door, which for some reason was unlocked as well. You shrugged as you passed through the door, and you walked down the hallway to go over to the main hall where the altar rested.

There was nobody in sight however, which felt strange.. especially since you were watched most of the time. Your feet lightly padded against the marble floor until you made your stop when your eyes caught the sight of the colors. They were there.. all three of the gems were lying right there in front of you.

You didn't think about it when your hand slowly reached out to pick up one of them, you felt attracted to the red colored gem somehow, as if it was sad. It didn't make sense, why would they leave these objects so important unguarded? Your eyes fixed themseleves on the bright red color of the gem, it felt strange.. as if you felt a new kind of energy flow through your body, but it didn't last long.

Because you felt it again.. your body stiffened up, causing your hand to uncurl slowly, the gem gently hit the altar with a thud as it slid off your hand. Not a word was heard, there was only silence that spread through the big hall which made you feel uncomfortable. Your body refused to turn around either, so your eyes were resting down on the altar.

"I do not appreciate you touching these important objects, besides.." You heard Lovino's voice, yet you couldn't find yourself to turn around in order to face him.. your body didn't let you.

"We've got ourselves a target.. one that's trying to find us at this moment" You didn't respond to it as Lovino added the last part, all you started to wonder was who it would be.. hoping that this person would stop the brothers.

"Come" He ordered you, and it only took a second for you to respond to that. He was leading you.. outside, and this was the first time you've actually seen either Lovino or Feliciano leave the hidden church. Which made you wonder something..

"Where's master Feliciano?" You curiously asked out of the blue, at least he wasn't forcing you to be quiet currently. You saw your master let out an irritated sigh, but he fell silent for a while as you aimlessly followed Lovino through the maze like alley.

"Oh.. Fratello is just taking care of some.. business" You listened to the somewhat hesitant voice, but you slowly nodded to it either way.

The two of you fell awfully silent as your master led the way, it was just like last time.. god knows how long you had been walking, but it took a while until Lovino halted you. His green eyes narrowed, yet he didn't say anything at all. You watched your master step forth to check the surrounds, he disappeared around the corner in a second. You got a disturbing feeling once you heard the loud sound of a wall being busted, you couldn't tell what it was and you didn't hear any cries or anything besides it either.. but you suddenly found yourself running ahead to peek around the corner.

There it was, a halberd was stuck in the wall. Trailing towards the end of the long pole, in the middle was Lovino.. he was stuck between the weapon and the wall, and at the end there was Antonio holding it firmly. His emerald eyes were narrowed, a serious expression was across his face.

"I know what you're trying to do, Lovino. And I won't let you succeed" Lovino didn't seem impressed at all when Antonio spoke, instead his dull gaze went away from the man.

"As if you can stop us now at this stage, the sacrifice will happen.. trust me" Lovino openly spoke as if he wasn't hiding anything, causing Antonio to push the halberd deeper into the stone wall. There was the sound of the stones bricking down slightly, yet it forced the pole to apply more pressure on Lovino's trapped body.

"Cut it out already, Lovino. Arthur should have never taught you this bullshit" Antonio hissed, making Lovino let out a small choked laugh from the pressure of the pole.

"That British bastard didn't teach us anything, we stole the book after he refused so much, damn idiot he is" This made Antonio all the more mad, causing him to push the pole even more.

But he was caught off guard when you suddenly rushed towards the two of them, harshly pushing Antonio aside before you managed to free Lovino by just slightly pulling the halberd from the wall. You barely managed it, which made you wonder what kind of strength the Spaniard actually hid in there. Antonio managed to catch his hold onto a part of the wall to keep himself from hitting the ground.

"I knew it, you were behind it after all. That means Feliciano is in this as well, isn't it?" Antonio spoke with disgust in his voice, you weren't sure what the whole chat was about. But he seemed to know what this 'sacrifice' thing was meant, and he looked very determined to stop it.

"You figured it out pretty quickly, but it won't matter.. just hand over that gem, it's useless to try to resist" Lovino softly spoke, suddenly giving the halberd a harsh push to free himself completely. The weapon hit the ground with a loud sound, and he stepped to stand beside you.

"As if I would" Antonio never looked this serious before, there was usually this bright smile plastered on his face after all.

You quickly stepped back a few steps when Antonio suddenly charged at Lovino, only to have the arm he tried to punch him with to be caught with a swift movement of the young Italian. He stared at his former caretaker before his free hand balded into a fist and he punched the Spaniard right back into his stomach, causing him to choke out a small cry and stumble back a bit.

"Is that really all you have? I was expecting more from the Boss" Lovino taunted, causing Antonio to growl silently as he collected himself again.

"Oh no worries, the Boss will take care of you" Right when Antonio spoke he rushed forward once more, but this time he aimed for something different. Because he headed straight for you instead, causing you to react the same way as Lovino did a second ago.

But before Antonio's fist threatened to hit you he quickly turned to shove Lovino away, giving him the opportunity to grab his halberd again. But before that happened you quickly stepped on his hand once his hand was on it, causing him to cry out from the pressure your foot was putting on his hand.. you were basically crushing it between your foot and the pole.

Since your attention was all on Antonio, you weren't aware of it when a light yellow aura appeared around Lovino's hand. He merely pointed his finger towards the Spaniard who was struggling to free his hand from the painful crushing of your foot, it only took a second before he attacked with the light magic, a small spark that looked light lightning shot at the man.. causing him to let out a scream as the pain soared through his body.

It was over so fast, just because you weren't alone on this now made it a lot easier. You looked down at Antonio who had fainted, carefully you removed your foot from his hand as he lay there. You remained silent as Lovino stepped over to his fainted body to search for the gem.

He pulled out the bright yellow gem, so there were only two left to get now..
