"West totally wasn't kidding when he said ______ was nice~" Gilbert laughed, he couldn't help it as his red eyes remained staring at the young girl that was seated on one of the school's benches, near the big fountain, she was innocently reading a book during lunch time. Ludwig obviously meant something different with the word 'nice' than Gilbert took for granted. Francis was too busy taking a smoke to pay attention while Antonio looked over at ______ as well, examining her. They were at a safe distance so Gilbert didn't have to worry about being heard at all.
"So, you're going to go for that chick?" Francis suddenly blurted out, his blue eyes were on Gilbert and his cigarette was lazily tucked between his index and middle finger.
"Of course, the awesome me can get anything he wants!" Gilbert said, he walked back over to Francis to sit down beside him in the soft grass. The weather was nice and warm, and there was a light breeze in the air which made it a perfect spring day. Antonio soon joined in with the two of them, the spot they sat on was pretty much hidden by some bushes so there was no trouble when it came to being seen either.
"Say, you may want to strike soon before the break is over, amigo" Antonio spoke with a chuckle. He looked over to Francis who was just putting out the cigarette by pressing it into the grass, really.. normall the Frenchman never touched one of them, calling them 'terrible for your health' yet he sat there smoking it for a first time.
"That's exactly what I was going to do, let's go. Kesese~" Gilbert stood up, Antonio and Francis followed him almost instantly. The three went over to where ______ sat, really for Gilbert to claim her as a prize.
Your eyes never left the book as you were reading, you were so sucked into the story that you were pretty oblivious to your surroundings. The spring's sun nicely shone down on you, giving you an even better view on the black letters that were printed on the pages. You were just about to get to the most exciting part when the book was suddenly taken from your hands, causing you to snap back to reality and look up to see Gilbert standing there with Antonio by his side.. apparently you were so oblivious to the world that Francis had managed to come up to stand behind the bench and read along with you over your shoulder.
"Give that back Gilbert!" You shouted it almost immediately, you knew this group, they often bullied people around the school whenever they felt like it. But you weren't going to put up with it like all those innocent nerds that had to suffer from them, not that easily at least. You wanted to stand up to snatch the book back out of Gilbert's hand, but Francis held you back by taking a hold of your shoulders and pushing you back down.
"Why would you want to read such a stupid book when I'm here?" Gilbert innocently asked, he handed the book to Antonio before he sat down next to you, wrapping his arm around your shoulder and pulling you close to him.
"I'm really not in the mood for this, Gilbert" You spoke, attempting to push the albino off of you which only resulted in one of your wrists being grabbed. He brought himself closer to you, his face only inches away from yours. You mentally cursed to yourself when you found yourself unable to move back due to Gilbert still having his other arm wrapped around you.
"Oh, but I am~" There were some wolf whistles to be heard when Gilbert spoke, Francis obviously seemed to enjoy watching the scene and Antonio was just chuckling a bit.
You tried to jerk yourself out of Gilbert's grip, but he kept a tight hold on you. His bright red eyes stared into yours until he closed them, his lips getting dangerously close to yours while his friends just stood there staring at the two of you.
"Bruder!" A low voice growled, startling the both of you. You let out a sigh in relief when you turned your head to see Ludwig standing there, his blonde hair neatly slicked back as always and his deep blue eyes didn't look impressed at all. Gilbert merely grinned as he kept you close to him.
"Oh, West! We were just hanging with ______. Want to join?" Gilbert asked. There was a grin plastered across his face. Ludwig however, he noticed your uneasy expression. He sighed as he stepped forth to the two of you, gently pushing Antonio aside who didn't really complain about it since he seemed in to be in a too good mood.
"I wouldn't believe it even if ______ said she was happily 'hanging out' with you right now" You were glad Ludwig happened to pass by, but seeing the books he carried made you remember that you had completely forgotten that you were going to study with him during the next hour of class so he was going to pick you up either way.
"You're always such a party pooper, West. Have fun sometimes" Ludwig merely grumbled at Gilbert's words before he suddenly reached out and grabbed his younger brother by the arm, pulling him up to stand from his seat next to you.
"Und you need to be more serious sometimes" Ludwig spoke. But Gilbert merely shrugged as he pulled himself from his brother's grip. Francis and Antonio curiously looked at the two, wondering what was going to happen.
"How about we keep this friendly, oui?" Francis piped up out of nowhere, causing Gilber to shrug before he moved over to his friends. His wide grin had disappeared, he seemed disappointed.
"I'll definitely come back for you, liebling~" You sighed as you watched Gilbert walk off, his friends following him like a couple of dogs. But as you looked the happy mood eventually returned until they disappeared out of sight. You looked up to see Ludwig sit down next to you, you had never seen him this releaved. Suddenly you realized something, Antonio still had your book.
"Seems I'm going to have to go back to them eventually.." You mumbled. You tried to keep it for yourself but Ludwig seemed to have heard it, he hesitated a bit before he spoke.
"Don't worry about it, I won't let them do anything to you anymore" You blushed a little at Ludwig's words, he normally never said anything like that.
"T-thanks.." You shyly spoke. The sudden ringing of the school's bell snapped you out of your thoughts. You quickly stood up, looking back at Ludwig with a smile as he did the same. You were a bit surprised when he offered you his hand.
"Want to go together? We're in the same class after all" Your blush deepend at Ludwig's offer, but you took his hand nontheless.
You gladly walked along with Ludwig, heading back into the school. It made you glad you were his classmate and that you were good friends, because you got the be close to him.
