The little white snowflakes slowly dangled down from the dark nightsky, and the cold breeze gave you a chill. Each step you took into the fresh snow gave a crunchy sound, causing you to leave a trail of footsteps behind. You merely followed the moonlit path before you, the rest of your surroundings didn't matter to you. You started to wonder where the moonlight was leading you as you walked through a tiny forest ahead..

And there he was..

The same man you had been seeing almost every night, yet you never knew his name. He was standing on top of the hill, his spikey blonde hair was lightly swaying in the wind.. giving it a glow of it's own by the light of the moon. He was dressed in a long black coat, decorated with a red color here and there. He carried a large smile, he always did. It didn't take long before his clear blue eyes left from staring at the frozen ocean to look into your direction.

He was always there, the same spot and the same time. He never spoke to you before, all he did was smile at you. Sometimes he approached you, but not even a plain greeting came out. This time too, the light crunching of the snow was heards as the male stepped towards you. He extended his hand, gently reaching out towards yours..

You nearly jumped when the sudden loud beeps of your alarm clock went off, making you turn it off out of frustration. You wanted to know what was going to happen so desperately. You had been having that same dream over and over again, with the same guy. You shook your head, shrugging it off just like always. You didn't really have the time to think about it since you had to get ready for school again.

You quickly jumped out of bed, changing yourself into your school uniform. In this period of time you were glad to have a short skirt that was with the uniform, since it was a nice and warm day in the spring. You made your way downstairs after you made sure to tidy your hair, finding the same empty living room as always. You had very busy parents, you couldn't blame them that they had to go to their jobs so early, so you were always on your own in the mornings.

Searching through the cupboards, you took anything you could eat for breakfast before you headed straight out the door. You never really took your time to sit down and enjoy the food, since you always wanted to head to school quickly. The only reason you did so was because you would often meet up with your best friend, Arthur. He was always early for some reason, so you may as well spend that time with him rather than sitting alone at home.

You headed out of the door, to the nearest bus stop there was. Sometimes you found it too bad that you didn't live very close to the school, but on the other hand you were just fine with it. During the bus the trip you often found yourself either checking your cell phone or just staring out of the window for the time.

By the time you arrived at the school grounds it didn't take long for you to spot the blonde upperclassman, and you went over to him immediately. He was sitting on a bench, near the entrance of the building. The Brit was just enjoying the slowly rising sun while reading a book.

"Good morning, Arthur" You greeted the upperclassman as you sat down next to him. His green eyes turned to gaze over to you immediately, and he put up a small smile.

"Likewise, ______" He softly spoke. The silence overtook for a while a moment later, it often did so early in the morning.

"Have you heard about the transfer students? It appears that there are going to be like five of them at once rather than just two" Arthur suddenly piped up, causing you to look at the Brit curiously. You had indeed heard that there were going to be students coming into the school, but it was only confirmed that there were just two people coming and none of them would land in your class anyway, so you let it pass quickly after all.

"Oh, any names?" You asked, despite not knowing the names of the first two already.. you still decided to ask it in case it had been leaked out. But it seemed there was no such luck as Arthur shook his head.

"No, but it seems your class is getting one of them as well as mine" Arthur responded. Your interests now grew when hearing that, wondering who he or she could possibly be. The two of you discussed a couple of things about it before the bell sounded.

"I guess it's time to head to class, I'll probably see you after school again or so" Arthur spoke, standing up from the bench. You nodded, making sure to follow the Englishman into the school, even though at some point you had to go into a different direction after all.

You took your usual seat in the homeroom class, right next to the window on one of the middle rows. The teacher wasn't in just yet, and other students were too busy by talking with each other. Your own attention went to the window instead, watching the scenery of trees and flowers.

"Alright class, take your seats!" The voice of your teacher rang through the classroom as the lady stepped in, everyone immediately obeyed. You looked to the front of the room to see her take a piece of chalk, and started writing something down on the blackboard.

"Today we're having a new student in our middle, please do come in" The teacher called.

The door opened only a moment later, at first you didn't realize it.. but once the student stood right next to the teacher your eyes widened. He looked exactly like the guy that you kept seeing in your dreams. The blond spiked hair, the blue eyes.. everything matched perfectly, he just happened to be wearing a school uniform, of course. He stood there, a goofy grin plastered across his face as he greeted the class.

"I'm Mathias, it's nice to meet you" He spoke in a Danish accent. Come to think of it, since you had never heard this same figure speak in your dreams, it was quite new to hear it. You could hear the silent 'Ohh~' sounds coming from the other female students, obviously interested in this new male.

"There is an empty seat right there in the back, you can take it" The teacher politely said. Her attention returned to the blackboard as Mathias nodded, making his way through to the back to take his seat which wasn't far from yours.. but not quite close either.

The feeling was odd, knowing that he was right there behind you. You tried your best to concentrate on the lessons, but each time you felt as if Mathias' eyes were on you it became difficult to keep paying attention. It went like that through the whole day, yet you couldn't find yourself to look back at Mathias to see if he was just paying attention to class himself or not.

You sighed of relief once the last bell of the day was heard, telling you that it was the end of the day. You got up from your seat in order to pack your stuff back into your schoolbag.

"Hey" A sudden voice spoke. You looked to your side to see Mathias standing right there, the still same smile was crossing his lips.

"What's up?" You ask in return. Mathias shrugged for a moment, he seemed a little bothered with something at the same time.

"Well.. I was wondering if you could explain me those math equations again tomorrow, it's confusing" Mathias politely said. He let out an embarrased chuckle along with it, but he looked at you with a hopeful expression. It made you wonder why he'd come over to you though, you weren't quite the best at math, but you did understand what was explained. But then again, you couldn't blame him since he was new.

"Sure.. I suppose" You watched as Mathias' blue eyes lit up almost instantly. He thanked you and told you bye when he walked out of the classroom.

You couldn't help yourself but wonder how and why Mathias ended up here. You couldn't take your mind off of that dream you constantly had every night anymore either, because it had the perfect image of him. You sighed as you went to leave the school's building, only to realize it was raining when you reached the entrance of the school. That's just great.. it had been such a nice and warm day, and now it was suddenly raining. You looked up at the grey clouds that were now covering the clear blue sky from before. All you had to do was make it to the bus stop after all.

It wasn't raining heavily, so you made sure to keep up a decent pace. You accidentally stepped into a puddle here and there, causing your shoes and socks to get all drowned. You eventually made a stop underneath a large tree when the rain was starting to fall more and more heavily. A worried expression crossed your face as there was no sign of the rain stopping, and a chilly breeze was starting to catch up now. You weren't sure how long you had been standing there by now, but it had been a while.

"Are you alright?" A sudden voice spoke, causing you to look over at the source. There was Mathias, wearing a long black coat over his uniform. His blond hair was dripping wet from the rain and was stuck to his face, but somehow he didn't seem to mind that at all.

"Yes, I just hoped to get home dry" Mathias chuckled at your comment, which you frowned at. To you it wasn't that funny, but then again you couldn't blame him since he was already soaked to the bone after all.

"My place is only a few blocks away, I can take you there so you can call for someone to pick you up. I owe you something since you'll explain all the math things tomorrow after all" Mathias offered. Partly you were surprised, but on the other hand you were just glad that he actually did so.

"S-sure.. I guess, but how will you pull that off?" You asked. There was a curious glance on your face as Mathias approached you with a grin.

"Simple, like this" He responded with a laugh, taking off his long black coat. Since it already reached down to his feet with his own length, it was long enough for you to pull it over your head and cover your body. The coat felt rather fluffy and warm, the inside of it wasn't wet from the soaking rain at all.

Mathias helped you, leading you down the streets towards his house..
Since Denmark was voted on the most on my poll, I eventually decided to write a story about him. But just like most other stories, I really don't know how many parts this thing will have and how I'll end it yet. But we shall see.. x3

Anyhow, I thank everyone that tried to explain me the personalities of the Nordics and all.. I'm just hoping I'm not going to go too far out of character, since this part doesn't really show much yet I guess xD

Somehow I always typo Denmark as Denkmark.. I somehow always manage to hit the K in the middle of it, I don't know why it happens but it just does lol

I hope you guys enjoyed this anyway :3

Disclaimer: I do not own Hetalia in any way.
