You strolled through the darkness of the night, crossing the streets in order to get home after a late night party. The light of the street lights dimly shone down on you as you moved, you were in quite a hurry. Your parents strickly told you to get home at twelve at most, but by the time you realized you were late it was already near one o clock. You were surprised that they didn't even call you yet, or worse.. they would come to pick you up personally.

It was rather quiet on the streets, the chirping of crickets was the only thing you heard as your feet pounded to the sidewalk. All you could think of was how mad your parents were going to be once you'd step inside. You didn't really look where you were walking until you felt something brush against your shoulder, only then you realized you nearly walked into a group of men.

"O-oh.. I'm sorry-" You tried to say, but the man you accidently walked up against didn't look very amused. Looking around, there were at least four people surrounding you.

"You should be sorry," The male said as he brushed himself off, he seemed a little thoughtful when he eyed what you guessed were his friends. "Get her"

You panicked at the order he gave, but you didn't have time to react to it before two of the guys grabbed you by the upper arms and dragged you right into an alleyway. You tried to struggle as much as you could but you were pinned against the wall, besides that you attempted to scream as well but one of the men covered your mouth with his hand. You watched as the 'leader' as you thought he was walked up to you, he carried a little grin as he approached you.

"You really got nerves running into us like that, what does someone like you do so late out on the streets anyway?" He merely shrugged after he spoke, reaching into your pockets and eventually he managed to fish out your wallet. All you could do was watch helplessly as the man checked through the wallet.

"I would give that back to the lady if I were you" A sudden voice cut through the mumbling that was going on between the group. You looked up to see a man standing at the entrance of the alleyway, only the moonlight brought a view on his features. All you could see was the blonde hair and the piercing the blue eyes that almost hid behind the transparent glasses.

"Who are you to tell me what to do?" The leader of the group grinned, only to be rather surprised when your rescuer pulled out a revolver. He wasn't afraid to point it around at all, he had a serious expression plastering his face.

"Now, what did I say?" This time he didn't hesitate at all, even if they carried some kind of weapon like a knife they wouldn't stand much of a change. You watched the group of men leave the alley before the stranger came up to you and handed you your wallet back.

"T-thanks.. if you weren't here I wouldn't know what could have happened" You quietly said, still recovering from the events that happened just now.

"A hero's gotta do what a hero's gotta do, it was my pleasure!" You couldn't help but giggle at the way he suddenly burst into a laughter, he sure was proud of himself. Now that you thought about it, you had seen him before, but where? Oh right, it was on a TV report. He had done quite some good deeds.

"Hey, aren't you that Alfred guy from television?" You asked. You saw the man's eyes lit up almost immediately when you did. You were tempted to embrace the man out of the sheer excitement that shot through your body, but you held yourself back.

"Of course, it's good to be recognized!" Alfred laughed. Just then did you realize something you almost started forgetting now, you panickly slightly as the thoughts returned to you.

"O-oh, I really have to hurry home now. I'm sorry" You quickly said as you moved out of the alley. You didn't expect Alfred to follow you, but you did hear his footsteps behind you and eventually he walked beside you.

"At least let me walk you home, we don't want the same to happen to you again, now do we?" He smiled at you as he spoke. You didn't really protest against it, in fact you felt a lot safer with Alfred around. An uneasy silence spread as the two of you walked together, you weren't really sure what to talk about either since you worried way too much about when you'd finally get home.

"So, what's your name?" Alfred suddenly piped up out of nowhere, startling you slightly.

"It's ______" Alfred noticed the obvious panic that was heard through your voice, so he suddenly wrapped his arm your shoulder and pulled you closer to him.

"At least calm down a little, I will make sure everything will fine!" Alfred laughed once again, thinking he could handle everything. Well, it did help you calm down at least a little bit. If he could keep you out of trouble it would be nice. Your parents were kind, but they could also be very strict after all.

As you expected your parents were quite disappointed with you, but Alfred did manage to make it less bad. Surely you were grounded, but on the other hand you looked at it from the bright side; You actually met the rather famous hero, Alfred. It made you wonder where he would be travelling to, to seek for trouble or for people to help. You shrugged, shoving the thought away as your attention returned to your supposed to be homework.

Today you were so bored after you had done your homework that it was starting to eat on you. You looked around the room and even searched through drawers, but you couldn't find anything interesting to do. So in the end you were just sitting on your bed with the television on.

"_______, there's a guest for you!" Your mother suddenly called from down the stairs. You didn't react to it, but your gaze curiously went over to your bedroom door when you started hearing said person walk up the stairs. It couldn't be your best friend since she was on vacation. Your eyes lit up when the door opened slowly.

"Oh Alfred, it's you!" You happily said. The hero walked over to you with excitement, sitting down on the edge of your bed. You giggled as you watched him take out a couple of burger from a plastic bag that he happened to carry.

"Yeah, I figured to visit you since I felt bad about your parents yelling at you so much last night" He mumbled, eating some of the burgers rather quickly.

"It's okay, after explaining you saved me things started to get better. At least a little" You smiled as you spoke. Alfred looked a little relieved to see that you were okay, and his mood only seemed to get better and better now.

"Hey, what about you join me to save the people now? Nothing can go wrong with the hero being around anyway!" The thought of being a sidekick was actually quite fun, but knowing your parents they would never let you go un such 'dangerous' things. Especially not in your current position.

"Grounded, remember?" You chuckled. But Alfred grinned big in return as he stood up from the bed, offering you his hand.

"Oh, but nobody needs to know you're out. You'll be back before your parents even know it!"

You couldn't help yourself, thanks to Alfred's hyperactive behavior it tempted you a lot. So you did it, you took his hand. You laughed as he dragged you over to the window; ready to save the day!
Requested by :iconrainbowchick214:, to write an America x Reader and have the Reader be attacked by ruffians, only to have our hero to come in and save you!

Meh.. why do I suck at writing America so much? ._.

Oh well, I guess I tried. Even I didn't expect it to come out like this, such a random ending xD
